O Programa de Pós-graduação em Engenharia Mecânica (PPGEM), convida a todos para participarem desta necessária palestra sobre o atual e desafiador tema de DESCARBONIZAÇÃO E TRANSIÇÃO ENERGÉTICA SEGURA E COMPETITIVA. 

O Prof. Dr. Marco Pantaleo fará a palestra em português. 

A palestra terá como título:

Research and innovation trends to achieve a cheap, fast and secure energy transition: the role of the Program Managers at the European Innovation Council and lessons learnt

E abordará, entre outros, os seguintes conteúdos:

The talk will describe the scientific intelligence activity developed during the mandate of Prof Pantaleo as Program manager at the EIC, in order to select emerging and timely research and innovation topics where to allocate research budget, shape the challenge, orchestrate the composition of the portfolios of projects that could work together for a common good and to address the European policy objectives. Marco will present lessons learnt and examples from the portfolios that he managed in 2020-24 in the areas of green hydrogen generation, mid to long duration and system integrated energy storage,  CO2 and Nitrogen management and valorization,  clean cooling technologies. He will also present the priority research directions of the European Union for a clean, secure and competitive industrial development, addressing the main challenges of security of materials supplies and critical materials for the energy transition, and exploring potential synergies with Brazil.
