CAPES Call for Applications – Scholarships for Foreign Students

We inform that CAPES has launched a public call for scholarships for foreign students to pursue Master’s, PhD, and Sandwich PhD programs at higher education institutions in Brazil.

The PPGEM/UFES has been granted 9 Master’s scholarships and 8 PhD scholarships. Therefore, candidates who meet the CAPES requirements (as stated in the official call) and are selected will be able to join PPGEM/UFES with a scholarship.

Applications must be submitted directly through the CAPES website: https://inscricao.capes.gov.br

The application period runs from August 14 to September 29, 2025, exclusively on the CAPES website. By applying, candidates are automatically competing for both admission to the program and the scholarship.
